Tips for a Great Visit
-Print a “Danny's Coming, Get Ready to DRAW” flyer to copy and post at your school and send home with children at least one week before event.-Read books Danny has illustrated to the children before the event. See catalog. Note: Some books may be available for checkout at the local library.
-Discuss the difference between authors and illustrators.
-Send detailed driving directions well in advance. Please include prominent landmarks. Also, indicate where Danny should park at your school.
-Have students and faculty pre-order books, bookmarks, stickers, or any other item prior to the event date. Danny can sign these items, personalize them with the buyers name, and have them ready to deliver on the day of his visit.
-Make sure you have all items on the supply list.
